When we started this project, we had it in mind to raise money for several organizations. We did this because the need is so great and the resources are so few. Since we started many people have asked us how we did it with an eye toward creating their own calendar. While we support the efforts of others we also realize that most organizations don’t have the ability to spend the time necessary to create something like the calendar. In answer to that we decided to offer the calendar at a reduced bulk rate to other organizations so that they can sell them in their home communities at a profit.
Our costs are estimated for designing and printing each calendar are about $3.50USD per calendar, thus we are asking each organization to purchase the calendars at a rate of $100USD ($115 CAN) for 15 calendars, about $6.66USD per calendar.
The calendars retails for $10-$25USD sliding scale, allowing you to make between $3USD and $18USD dollars per calendar. Realistically $18USD is high, but you could reasonably expect to double your investment.
Please note that all bulk calendar sales must be paid for in advance. Only syringe exchanges and organizations offering harm reduction based services are eligible for this discounted rate.
